Is Horcrux 5 permanent?

Yes. Pay once or become an annual supporter; either first successful payment permanently unlocks Horcrux 5. Annual renewal controls only Priority Support.

Who receives the upgrade price?

Anyone with a paid Horcrux version 1 through 4. The App Store build verifies purchase history through Apple; the Direct build verifies your existing license key.

Why charge for an upgrade?

This is our first paid Horcrux upgrade in more than ten years. It supports continued development and support so Horcrux does not become unmaintained.

Will my archive be locked in?

No. Durable email uses open files and readable history. A fallback restore path keeps it useful without the app.
